How to pack your ski soft travel bag

1Preparing your skis/snowboard

  1. Wrap the tip and tail of the skis or snowboard with bubble wrap.
  2. Apply blue painter’s tape to hold the bubble wrap together.
  3. Snowboards can be placed into the soft travel bag after the bubble wrap is taped.
  4. Place skis in the bag base to base so the bindings are facing away from each other.
  5. Ski poles can be placed after the skis are secured.
  6. Zip up the bag once the equipment is secured.

2Print & attach shipping label to soft canvas bag

  1. Attach the barcoded label to a shipping luggage tag. Never tape the shipping label to the canvas area.
  2. Run a zip tie through the luggage tag and the top handle of the bag.
  3. Close the zip tie and double-check the connection.

  3. Place your ski/snow boots in the boot bag and zip the bag closed.

  1. Attach the barcoded label to a shipping luggage tag. Never tape the shipping label to the canvas area.
  2. Run a zip tie through the luggage tag and the top handle of the bag.
  3. Close the zip tie and double-check the connection.

  3. Snowboards can be placed into the box after the bubble wrap is taped.
  4. Place skis in the box base to base so the bindings are facing away from each other.
  5. Ski poles can be placed after the skis are secured.
  6. Carefully place your skis in the box. Tape the flaps shut.

2Print & attach shipping label to a box

  1. Place shipping label on the upper side of the box.
  2. Affix your shipping label by taping all four corners of the label to the box.
  3. Slide hands over the tape to secure it.

Dos

  • Place an extra copy of the shipping label in your ski bag or box.
  • Make sure printed shipping labels are visible
  • Double-check that all zipper compartments are closed or box flaps shut.

Don'ts

  • Do not overpack your ski bag or travel case.
  • Do not tape the shipping label directly to a canvas bag.
  • Do not place shipping label over closed flaps of a box.
